Our MISSION
To provide housing, life skills training, job readiness, and mental wellness through the arts for youth aging out of the foster care system, helping them transition into adulthood with confidence, stability, and purpose.

At Lott Legacy Inc., we believe every young person deserves stability, opportunity, and the chance to thrive beyond their circumstances. Founded with heart and purpose, our organization bridges the gap for youth who age out of the foster care system—offering a safe place to callhome, guidance for their next steps, and the support they need to build a future filled with possibility.
Through intentional programs centered on job readiness, life skills, and creative expression, weempower young adults to gain confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. Our approach combines mentorship, mental wellness support, and the healing power of the arts—because weknow that true growth happens when people feel seen, supported, and inspired.

Creative Wellness
Art has the power to heal. Through guided workshops in painting, crafting, and creative expression, we help participants process emotions, build confidence, and connect with others in a
safe, supportive space. Our Creative Wellness program emphasizes mental health and self-care as vital tools for lifelong resilience.
Career Pathways
From résumé writing to interview preparation and workplace etiquette, we equip young adults with the tools they need to secure and sustain employment. We partner with local businesses and training programs to provide hands-on opportunities, mentorship, and job placement assistance.
Life Skills Academy
Adulthood can feel overwhelming without guidance. Our Life Skills Academy teaches practical,
day-to-day essentials—budgeting, cooking, time management, conflict resolution, and more— so
participants are ready to live independently and thrive in the real world.
Transitional Housing & Support
We aim to create a nurturing home environment where participants can live safely while gaining stability. Our transitional housing model offers structure, accountability, and a sense of community, ensuring no one has to face adulthood alone.
